How It Works

  1. Start a Domain Transaction: Choose your role (Buyer, Seller, or Broker), enter the domain name, and set the selling price.
  2. Set Payment Terms & Invite: Define the payment structure—one-time or installments—and decide who covers the fees.
  3. Review, Edit & Confirm: Both parties review and confirm terms. AtomPay generates a secure purchase link for the buyer.
  4. Buyer Makes Payment: The buyer pays through AtomPay's secure checkout. Funds are held safely until transfer.
  5. Domain Transfer: Our team works with the seller to complete the transfer using standard registrar steps.
  6. Track & Complete: Both parties follow progress in the dashboard. AtomPay releases funds when buyer confirms receipt.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does AtomPay work?

AtomPay securely manages domain transactions between buyers, sellers, and brokers. Funds are collected, the domain is transferred, and payment is released once both sides confirm completion.

What payment options does AtomPay support?

AtomPay supports wire transfers, credit cards, and crypto.

Is AtomPay secure?

Yes. AtomPay holds both the payment and the domain until the transfer is complete. If a transfer cannot be completed, you're fully protected with a refund guarantee.

What fees are involved?

Every domain name transaction includes a one-time transaction fee. For installment plans, there's also an Installment Management Fee: the greater of $25/month or 0.01% of each monthly payment. Credit card payments carry an additional 2.9% processing fee.

What is domain escrow, and how does it typically work for domain transactions?

Domain escrow is a setup where a neutral third party holds the buyer's payment (and sometimes helps oversee the domain transfer) until both sides meet the agreed terms, reducing fraud risk for both buyer and seller.
